Nick Jensen may be on his way to the American Hockey League.
The Anaheim Ducks defenceman cleared waivers on Sunday, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
He is now available to be assigned to AHL San Diego.
Jensen, 36, was coming off two strong seasons with the Ottawa Senators, where he put up seven goals and 31 assists over 132 games.
The right-shot blue liner had one goal and one assist in limited action for the Ducks.
The Rogers, Minn., native signed a two-year, $4.5-million deal with Anaheim in the off-season.
He has also played for the Detroit Red Wings and Washington Capitals over his 11-year NHL career.
